It’s extremely important to take time for yourself no matter what life throws your way. The benefits can go well beyond any transformation you will experience. Your children, wife, husband, sister, brother, mother, or father are all recipients of a manageable “you.” In fact, those individuals who benefit from your managing mental health are the very people who support and strengthen a stronger “you.”
So, take a walk, exercise, talk to someone (on a personal or professional level), find time to meditate, participate in a support group. Whatever it is you enjoy the most…take that deserving time for “you.”
