Charity for Therapy
We’re grateful for the support of Charity for Therapy (CFT) and appreciate the assistance and dedication for our social media initiatives, raising mental health awareness, and working toward the organizations mission and goals.
CFT is a club that aims to destigmatize mental health and therapy, lend support to those in need, and provide community resources. Started in 2020, the club has held fundraisers, given various mental health presentations, and participated in multiple volunteer opportunities.
Camille A. President – “I started Charity for Therapy because I am passionate about mental health issues. I have experienced a lot of the pain caused by psychological disorders. Whether it was the way others treated me or my own mental health, it has taken me a long time and I’m still learning how to deal with something so serious. I want to learn and teach others how to deal with their own, and others, mental health so we can have a community of people supporting one another.”
Mikko S. Vice President – “I helped start this club because mental health is a really important issue for me. I watched a lot of people close to me struggle with mental health issues for years because they didn’t have access to resources or information. I am part of Charity for Therapy because I want to help provide community resources. While I wish I could have helped my friends I now help plan meetings and events, create educational and informative social media content, and assure all club activity is appropriately approved.”
Audrey L. Social Media Manager – “I organize and design posts advertising fundraisers, meetings, and events. I joined this club because I care deeply about destigmatizing mental health and guiding people to lead healthier and happier lives.”
