As a community we can, and should, apply the following to at risk individuals:
- Help those struggling with the loss of a family or friend
- Share problem-solving techniques to assist others in overcoming challenges
- Provide and share mental health resources
- Create a positive surrounding for those who might be struggling, especially during holidays
- Support individuals at risk of suicide
- Take time and listen to an individual in need
- Create opportunities that bring people together
- Advocate for safe environments
- Promote a safe workplace with available health and wellness resources and support
“Together, we can and will make a difference in the lives of others.”
